TDV20
TDV20

So who was there to witness this? On July 7th I had the pleasure of spinning at TDV20 hosted by tidy trax at The O2 Academy in Birmingham to around 2,000 clubbers. This event was to celebrate to life of Tony de vit who’s sadly passed away 20 years ago with the biggest hardhouse line-up plus a few legendary djs who spun along side Tony back in the day. I loved the memorial the tidy boys put on before the music started with lovely video clips and messages from people in Tony’s past. Then onto the main event where I enjoyed my set so much it went to fast! and then I had time to hit the dancefloor after I finished. What a great night, one to remember xx

May events
May events

They say variety is the spice of life and this month I get to do 3 totally different events which is such fun to do! Firstly on May 12th I will be spinning CLEETHORPES GATHERING with a line-up just like to old days before everyone was pigeonholed into a style of music and I used to share the bill with all kinds of djs. Even though my heart is with hardhouse I do like to wander into other rooms and listen to lots of other styles too 🙂 Held at “The beachcomber” no doubt the best venue in the area boasting its huge size and mulit arenas. Starting in the daytime (with pool party) then finishing at 2am you can get tickets here Then after this I will be heading down to London for me exclusive full on harder set where I play a more filthy set, I only do a couple of these a year and REALLY look forward to them. This time Bioshokk will be in conjunction with Vinyl Warriors and you can get tickets here Lastly on May 26th I will be once more djing on Blackpool pier for BTID with thousands of clubbers all actually on the pier with me spinning to them playing a full on bounce set as the sun goes down. Unfortunately this is now sold out but if you are lucky enough to have a ticket, see you there! 🙂 x

Pin-Up update!
Pin-Up update!

So I’ve been travelling all around the country again with lots of distance between the last couple, Devon and Blackpool with two totally different crowds but both amazing in their own way. Its been 5 whole years since I djed for Random Noize in Barnstaple-Devon and just love the clubbers down this way, most of them have been coming to see me dj since the start of my career. Then up the other end of the country to Blackpool for a full on bounce set. I do a handful of these kinds of gigs a year and love spinning something different. The clubbers are so friendly and up for party and it was Sanctuary’s 16th birthday party which was a bonus too!

2017 round up!
2017 round up!

Even though I’ve slowed down my dj schedule it didn’t stop me spinning at some fabulous events in 2017. I started the year off at Pams house in Norwich, a legend of a club and the oldest brand I still dj for. I was only young when I first played for them and guess what, they still know how to put on an amazing party! Next up was my London residency @ Biokshokk, I have a big soft spot for these guys and it’s the only place to catch me doing an exclusive non bounce full on dirty hardhouse set and I can really bang them out when I put my mind to it! I was lucky enough to spin for them twice last year and will definitely be back this year too. Then I bounced it up fully for bounce factory, I love this event as I can actually bounce it up one step further than my normal hardhouse events, they also had me back in August which was a pleasure as they attract such a lovely bunch of clubbers. Also this year I was so pleased to see Sundissential back in force (we missed you!) and I was lucky enough to spin for them 3 times! and such big favourite of mine. The first event was for their return to Leeds, I was so chuffed to be asked to be part of this and it totally rocked! Then in May I actually djed on blackpool pier for BTID which was mind blowing watching the sea while dropping tunes to over a 1,000 clubbers, they sure did go crazy. Straight after this I headed down to Sundissential for their first Midlands event in years and it just felt like coming home, after so many different kinds of sets this was so wonderful to be playing my normal banging bouncy hardhouse with my HH family. Over the summer I djed at Modified Mania, a car enthusiast event and I got to watch car drifting while spinning my tunes! I was also back up to BTID for their spectacular zombie nation event at Bowlers centre which was rammed and these guys sure put on a show. In September I joined “feel the bounce” up in Wigan, the 2nd time i’ve played for them and they always make me feel so welcome, I even had time after my set to party on the dancefloor. And to top it all off I got to play at one of my favourite venues of all time again, The Emporium Coalville not once but twice! In October they brought back the famous “Frightnight” event and it was just like the old days, great to see the club full of people all dressed up having the times of their lives. And then I was back for Stormisssential doing a tidy girls b2b set with Anne Savage where we shared the decks for a whole 2 hours and I thought we worked very well together indeed 🙂 Lastly there was Dayglow in Sheffield, such a shame I don’t think this event will be carrying on due to financial problems but I met some wonderful clubbers and we actually did have a lot of fun. Well I have loads planned for 2018 so do keep checking my website for updates and i’m looking forward to seeing you over the upcoming months, love Lisa Pin-Upxx

Modified Mania June 25th
Modified Mania June 25th

Well time to start planning for my next big dj event on June 25th at The longest modified & Performance car show-“Modified mania” now in its 12th year! If you want a family day out that is filled with car drifting high energy demonstrations all taking place on the oval track at Smeatharpe Stadium, you can’t miss this one. I will be doing a dj set to entertain the crowd (last time I spun for these guys there was an amazing atmosphere at the dj arena) plus there will be club car dj stands, traders selling cool stuff and lots of great things to amuse the kids supplied by Weston with inflatable and fair ground attractions. Lastly just for a bit of fun there will be fancy dress theme-Star wars. Last time it was super heros and I must admit I saw some fantastic costumes! For all details go to this web site CLICK HERE
